The BBC box which was left to float across the world to tell the current story on globalization is back with loads of news. The shipping box which was followed by the BBC team was actually an attempt made to learn more about globalization. The news might seem too weird but this strategic attempt had been made possible by leaving an entire container full of whiskey, cat foods and tin foods, to float at its own pace. As per UK shipping information the container which had traveled for around a year has finally reached the UK ports.
The project rose as efforts to know the economic condition prevailing across the world. It’s just to know the global story of existing trade. The project has actually helped to focus on issues like existing trends of China’s consumer group and other issues like international piracy. Even the captain of the ship carrying this magic box had been unaware of the entire project undertaken by BBC.
The box completed its tour on visiting the BBC center. After completion of its year long journey, the box is heading for the African continents where it is likely to land up in some soup kitchen. The box which got bolted with a GPS transmitter was mainly used as a content resource for the radio, television and online media. This technical project is a challenge in today’s world of technology.
